2007 MIRROR LAKE CONCOURSE

LAKELAND, FLORIDA

On October 20th, 2007 Anne and I attended the 2007 Mirror Lake Concourse Auto Show in Lakeland Florida. Thom Collins and his wife met us there. Sir Stirling Moss was the Grand Marshal and was there signing autographs. It was a very interesting show as you will see by the pictures.

Sandy Sanders, also of the MG-TABC list attended this show too. Unfortunately we did not make connection with him. After we got home Sandy sent me many of the pictures you see on this page. Thank you Sandy!

I should explain this last picture. I took it for my friend John Price in College Station, Texas. John is the owner of an MG-TC which is a famous race car. It won many Hill Climb Events right here in Florida. His car is named the Whitney Stilton Special. I took a picture of this hill as it may be the very same hill which this famous TC won its fame.
